It may be located on Main Street Vegas, but on the far corner of the popular Fremont Street area, 777 Brewery really is a hidden gem. When you’re giving anyone directions you’ll have to give the same warning we got given ‘It really is in there’. Head in to the Main Street Station Hotel and you’ll think you’re walking in to another downtown casino that has seen better days. You’ll see a lot of pensioners playing the cheap slots. There will be a slight musty smell and it won’t be bright. Just stick to the left and you’ll suddenly walk back a few windows behind which is a massive brewery/restaurant. Inside is arguably the best beer Vegas has to offer.
Some hotels pride themselves on their buffets. 777 should be given awards for the beer they make in house. As you look around your table you’ll see the large fermenting tanks decorating one side, whilst servers pour from the large number of taps on site at the other. If you’ve already had a pretty crazy night, the food is the stuff hangovers love to be comforted by. We’re looking at you Black Angus Sliders.
The best time to go is during their Happy Hour (3-6pm, Mon-Fri) when some beers are just $2.50. If anything it’s a great spot for watching sport at when you consider hotels on the strip would charge a higher price for generic beer. We think you should at least try their flagship beer High Roller Gold.
